About the tunes
"I got these tunes in South Uist while Frances and I were attending the Ce˛las week. They were taught to us by Ian MacFarlane who is a brilliant fiddler, piper and singer. He's also a very patient tutor."
Frances is another of the excellent Nomad Beat violin teachers. See the sidebar for information on Ce˛las and Nomad Beat.
Gordon the group tutor says:
A terrific rhythmic Strathspey. A great version of this appears on Alasdair White's CD "An ClÓr Geal".
